Rules for everyone but her
The title is her line, and the joke is that the rule only applies to other people. She stops the party everyone expected, then hosts a much more private one herself, on her own terms and under the same roof as the bride-to-be.
Episodes 1 and 2: the cancelled party
The free episodes cover the public veto and the first private offer, so the full premise is visible before any tokens.
Episodes 3 to 5: the back door opens
The paid chapters bring in her friends and play the night out. They cost 12 tokens each.
Who is on screen in Not Under My Roof
The mother-in-law leads, and the groom is the man caught between her rules and her offer. Antonella Larrea's AI twin is linked to this short in the Candy AI library. Her friends and the daughter complete the cast, all AI-generated.

Not Under My Roof is cut into 5 vertical episodes of a few minutes each. Candy AI calls them simply "Episode 1", "Episode 2" and so on, so here they are by number, with what each one costs at the moment:
- Episode 1: free and playable straight away, with no account at all.
- Episode 2: free as soon as you have made the free Candy AI account.
- Episode 3: 12 tokens, unlocked by itself when you reach it.
- Episode 4: 12 tokens, unlocked by itself when you reach it.
- Episode 5: 12 tokens, unlocked by itself when you reach it.
Added up, the paid part comes to 36 tokens for 3 episodes. Candy AI Premium puts 100 tokens a month into your account, which covers 3 of these episodes in a single month, so one month is enough to finish it. That is the standard open-shelf rate of 12 tokens an episode. The figures are read from the Candy AI library every day.
Opening Not Under My Roof without paying first
Not Under My Roof sits on the open shelf, so anyone can start it. Here is how far you get before tokens come into it:
- Use the button on this page and episode 1 starts on candy.ai, no sign-up screen first.
- To carry on with episode 2, make the free account; it still costs nothing.
- Episodes 3 to 5 are 12 tokens each, taken from your balance one at a time.
Nothing is charged for watching the free part. Tokens come either with Premium or as a separate purchase, as our price page explains.
Captions, screens and the Candy AI app
Not Under My Roof is filmed upright for a phone, and the Candy AI player fills a mobile screen with it; on a laptop it plays in a tall frame. It runs in the browser at candy.ai, and our app page shows how to pin the site to a home screen.
The dialogue is in English, with captions in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Japanese.
Not Under My Roof, weighed up
A tight premise with an ironic title that it fully uses. For 36 tokens it is an easy finish, and a good companion to My Bachelor Gift was My Fiancée's Mom, which plays a similar card.

A few things to know first
- Everyone you see is generated by AI, including the twins of real creators, who license their likeness to Candy AI.
- The free episodes are the real start of Not Under My Roof, not a trailer, so they are a fair test of whether the rest is for you.
- Episode prices can change. We re-read them daily, but the number shown in the Candy AI player is the one that counts.
